AFRIKAANS AND COMPUTERS AT THE BREEDE CENTRE

Enthusiastic Afrikaans learners join Suenell Holloway to learn our local language and we start our first Computer this year with a keen group of participants.

OUR TEAM GROWS

With the increased workload we are now able to employ an assistant, Sylvia, for Dorothy in the Screen Printing Enterprise. She helps with cutting, printing and packaging. We also have three ladies in the village doing sewing for us...

MORE ACTIVITIES WITH CHILDREN

The children are crowding in for more learning through art, games and crafts at the Breede Centre, and extra maths and homework support at the Primérskool, facilitated by the Breede Centre.

NEW SCREEN PRINTING RANGE

We have a new range of beautiful colours and designs – these pictures show a selection. They will be available in various outlets in McGregor soon.

TOURISM VISIT

Sima Tours Travel Agency in Belgium supports the Breede Centre by collecting a donation from every booking made through them, and then they double it at the end of the year and send it to us. Thank you Sima Tours. They sometimes bring a tour group with them, stay at Temenos, visit the Breede Centre, enjoy our famous band and are given a meal by locals – in this way also bring custom to McGregor. Here are pictures of them enjoying the band and a meal at the home of Kitty and Hans Wagenaar. The room and tables were beautifully decorated!
